Mini Video Player is built from the ground up as a privacy-first utility. It operates exclusively inside your browser to provide floating Picture-in-Picture windows and side panel video controls. We do not collect, monitor, log, scrape, or transmit any browsing history, video data, network traffic, or personally identifiable information.

2. Local Storage & Host Permissions

Mini Video Player requests host permissions strictly for *://*.youtube.com/* to attach playback controls (speed, seek, loop, subtitles) and launch Picture-in-Picture mode. No video content, watch history, or account credentials are stored or sent to remote servers.

Extension settings—such as default playback speed and UI layout preferences—are saved locally on your device using the browser's native storage API.

The browser side panel uses the native sidePanel API to host your player controls locally. No activity analytics or user interactions are logged or recorded.

3. Third-Party Data Transference

Because Mini Video Player does not collect or transmit your personal data, no information is ever captured, processed, sold, commercialized, or transferred to third-party entities, advertisement networks, or data brokers.
