ReadShot is designed from the ground up to protect your privacy. It works entirely inside your web browser. We do not track, collect, store, or share your reading habits, saved page locations, browsing history, or any personal information.

2. How Your Reading Data is Handled

When you save a reading spot, ReadShot remembers where you left off by saving page details—such as the page title, web address, scroll position, and any optional notes or tags you add. All of this information stays directly on your computer inside your browser.

Your preferences, such as light or dark display mode, are safely synced across your devices using your standard browser account settings. None of your saved reading locations or notes are ever sent to external servers or monitored by us.

ReadShot only accesses the current web page when you explicitly click the extension or save a position. It never runs background activity or reads your pages without your interaction.

3. Third-Party Sharing

We do not collect any data, which means your information is never sold, traded, or shared with advertisers, analytical services, or any third parties.
